Park Slope Breakfast Beanie
Designed over endless rounds of morning coffee while visiting my then-fiance's family in Brooklyn. This hat wasn't quite what I wanted it to be- a warm, snug garment fit for New York winters, but it became a wonderful lightweight 3-season hat. Loose and slouchy- you can fold up the brim for a tighter fit, or wear it floppy.
You will need:
US Size 8 16" circular needles Needles
US Size 8 dpns
1 skein Noro Taiyo (100g/220 yd worsted weight)
- CO 90 stitches and join for working in the round.
- Work in k2,p2 rib stitch for approx. 2"
- Work 2 rows of stockinette (knit around twice)
- Work in Moss stitch until hat reaches 7"
